Purple Dove is looking for a Nursery Manager for one of South West London’s most sought after nursery schools which provides care and education for children from 6 months to 5 years. We are looking for a dynamic and committed Early Years Manager who is looking for a nursery to manage on a long term basis.
Full Time role, a minimum of 42.5 hours per week.
Competitive Salary - approx £40,000+ per annum dependant on experience & qualifications.

Main Responsibilities
Report to The Head of Operations & Company Directors.
The Nursery Manager is responsible for instilling a culture of continuous improvement. Ensuring the happiness of all children, parents and staff.
Ensure the nursery is well organised in every regard and that company policies, procedures and standards are effectively embedded.
Plan & deliver regular events for children, parents & staff. Conduct staff training on inset days and monthly staff meetings/workshops as needed.
To deliver a rich and exciting play based curriculum that enables children to make individual progress in line with the EYFS.
To build and maintain a motivated team who consistently perform to high standards.
Conduct interviews with new staff and ensure they receive effective induction. Focus on staff retention.
Adhering to Policies & Procedures & compliance with the Children Act, Health & Safety legislation and within the guidelines of Ofsted and the National Standards.
Ensure confidentiality is maintained and undertake any other reasonable duties as directed.
Any other tasks, directed by Head of Operations or Company Directors.
Minimum Qualification L3 or Above
Previous Management experience
Fluent in Spoken & Written English
Willingness to go the extra mile
People person with strong ability to lead and motivate a team
Local or short commute to London SW6 (desired)
Previous participation in OFSTED Inspection (desired)
