Distillery School Assistant

These public tastings will cover all current whisky, gin and rum tasting experiences, as well as hosting private and corporate groups looking to create their own bespoke recipes. The role will require evening and weekend working and therefore flexibility in hours.
In addition the Distillery School Assistant will work closely with the Events and Retail teams to ensure guests experience smooth, memorable classes.
This is a new, exciting and varied role
**Role Responsibilities**
- Work closely with the Head of Distillery School to ensure effortless day-to-day running of the venue
- Deliver exceptional consumer experiences through efficient set-up and break-down of sessions, maintaining highest possible standards
- Balance front-of-house and back-of-house requirements to ensure smooth operations
- Manage bookings, enquiries and cancellations
- Organise and schedule deliveries from centralised warehousing
- Liaise with the Head of Distillery School to maintain website content and add new experiences and classes
- Keep social media channels up-to-date with latest content
- Build strong relationships with the Events and Retail teams and support them where required
- Advise retail team to ensure relevant saleable stock levels are maintained

- Be able to create a great consumer experience and environment
- Have the ability to think on your feet
- Display excellent interpersonal skills
- Hold WSET level 2 plus or equivalent qualifications - or the desire to study WSET
- Have a strong sense of marketing to promote the experience
- Be well versed in Social media management
