**SEN Teaching Assistant
**Located Tower Hamlets, E14
**MPS / UPS + SEN depending on Experience
** Previous Experience with the UK Curriculum
**Long term, Full-Time position starting January 2023
** MUST have experience with the UK Curriculum
** MUST Have a min of 2:1 in a degree or equivalent
Person Specification:
To be successful, you will be a dependable, caring and empathetic individual, who knows how to communicate with children who may need extra assistance within their lessons. Your presence will make a difference for a lot of students who might struggle withactivities that their peers may succeed with, so you will need to have the passion and dedication to helping them develop embedded within you.
The school needs a SEN Assistant Teacher who has a history of setting high expectations for both themselves and their pupils and seeing them through with the guidance and coaching needed. You will have the spark of imagination necessary to work closely withpupils, who are constantly evolving and learning with real creativity and flare.
As a SEN Assistant Teacher you will have the drive to assist the classroom teacher bringing clarity and efficiency lessons and deal with challenging situations with ease. You will be easily approachable and have a confident yet calm aura. Your skills will revolvearound showing how sensitive you are and how you are able to explore solutions to situations in a way that is understanding to the needs of every pupil.
About the Role:
As a General SEN Assistant Teacher you will be joining the school's positive and caring staff team. All the staff are offered a variety of training and opportunities to increase their skill set. You will be alongside a large diverse team with combined experienceof over 80+ years. This would be a great way to increase your knowledge and develop your confidence, as someone with healthy experience Is at easy reach. This training will have a positive impact on your teaching standards and help you throughout the restof your career. The school understands how demanding teaching can be and seeks to place as many Teaching Assistants in every class as necessary to meet the needs and demands of the class.
