Hours - 37.5 per week Mon - Fri (will be such as required for the successful discharge of your duties) Flexibility required

Reporting to - Premises Key Account Manager

Communication - Company Laptop and mobile phone provided

Transport - Company van provided.

**Job Summary**

Based in the Northwest with regional coverage throughout Lancashire, Liverpool, Manchester, Cheshire. You will ideally live in one of the supporting areas.

Reporting directly to the Premises Key Account Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day management of the NWAS premise cleaning contract. Plan, direct and co-ordinate the operations of a business, division, department, or operating unit. Plan and maintain systems and procedures for operating efficiency.

Manage staff for optimum performance. You will need a flexible approach as this will include working days, afternoons, evenings. Mostly working Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend.

**Job Specific Requirements**
- Recruitment of Operatives
- Inducting new employees - Health and Safety. Site specific and company specific
- Training of staff and any re training requirements
- Supervision of staff according to overall company policy
- Set employee goals and objectives
- Develop staff to maximize potential
- Monitor staff performance including performance reviews
- Site and Operative audits, along with corrective actions
- Delegate work duties to staff to attain objectives
- Allocate use of available resources. Labour, Stock control, equipment maintenance and repair
- Company vehicle. Fuel efficiency etc in line with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and assist staff with work progress
- Implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency
- Facilitate the preparation and analysis of reports
- Review performance data to monitor and measure productivity progress and activity levels
- Responsible for quality
- Toolbox talks
- Complete an agreed level of premises cleaning specification.
- Daily/monthly vehicle checks to be completed
- Attending monthly internal management meetings and also client meeting

**Person Specification**
- Good interpersonal skills, with a professional and polite manner.
- Must have a valid UK driving licence and no more than 3 penalty points.
- Essential to be receptive to new ideas and a willingness to adapt to change.
- Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team, along with prioritising workloads to achieve objectives.
- Time management, decision making, problem solving, along with delegation of tasks and responsibility as appropriate.
- A thorough understanding of the operational workings of Ambulance services would be an advantage, but not essential as full training and induction will be given.
- Be familiar with Microsoft software - Excel, word & Outlook
- Be PC literate and possess good numeracy skills.
