**We have an opportunity for a Trainer to join their team of staff in the Decontamination department based in our St Albans Unit.**

**This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.**

**Applicants should meet the following criteria**:

- Teaching / Education and mentoring qualification. Sound working knowledge of sterile services and endoscopy reprocessing.
- Demonstrable evidence of professional development. Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
- Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
- Understands blended learning
- Is able to deliver training interventions remotely

**Duties of this role include**:

- To deliver training and education initiatives at Decontamination’s sterile services sites located at Aylesford (Kent), Glasgow, Stockport (Manchester), Radlett (St. Albans) and WMRC (Birmingham) in line with Circle Health Group (CHG)’s People Development strategy, developing staff to provide excellence and efficiency in Decontamination’s endeavours.
- To work with site managers to deliver both structured learning and ad-hoc interventions to bridge site and specific staff members’ developmental gaps.
- To support mentorship for any accredited programmes
- To develop a sound collaborative link into CHG’s People Development Team to ensure any appropriate and suitable people development initiatives are filtered through to the Decontamination team.
- To work closely with each site’s management team to co-ordinate and provide delivery of site
- specific plus corporate training and education.
- To deliver training and education, as required, in both a formal and informal setting aligned to the Company’s competency framework.
