Panel Wirer Assembly

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working on an exclusive basis with an innovative and industry leading company with specialist expertise and experience in the design, manufacture and installation of environmental solutions supporting aluminiumproduction. The company is based within a commutable distance from both South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. They are looking to add a skilled Panel Wirer / Assembler to their team.
The position requires the post holder to assemble controls and fixtures that incorporate a series of wiring, switches, cables, other electrical units, water circuit systems and mechanical fixtures to deliver functional electronic systems that confirm with strictquality requirements on time and in full.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 6.30am - 4.30pm

**Salary**: £14.00 p/h rising to £15.60
Overtime: Overtime is paid at time & ½ Friday and Saturday / Double time on a Sunday.
Contract: Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities include:

- Responsible for HS&E for yourself and work colleagues and reporting any breaches through the correct channels
- Responsible for maintaining and improving quality of the service supplied by the Panel Assembly Team to the internal/ external customer
- Responsible for maintaining accurate documentation to ensure all quality checks and measures are complete
- Responsible for maintaining and improving the Cost of Quality to the business by managing and reporting all waste labour & materials
- Working closely and maintain a strong relationship with all departments within the business
- Supports any reasonable work/ business request
- Electrical assembly and panel wiring of control panels for industrial equipment
- Fit, wire, build and assemble control plates
- Light fabrication
- Reading and understand wiring schematics & assembly drawings to include electrical circuit/ wiring diagrams and oral and written instructions
- Practical knowledge of electrical/electronic systems
- Experience of fault finding & trouble shooting
- Knowledge of electrical switchgear systems advantageous
- Able to work independently
