The main objective of the supervisory role will be to assist the managers on site to ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly. It is important that this role be met with drive and ambition, in order to motivate the bar staff and lead the FOH team on shift.

**Key Objectives and Responsibilities**
- The supervisor must assist the managers on shift with daily tasks providing support where possible and help in the organisation of shifts.
- In this role you must deliver customer satisfaction by maintaining an exceptional standard of service and professionalism.
- A supervisor is a key role in representing the company’s best interest and must set high standards of personal presentation and behaviour at all times, leading by example.
- A positive attitude must be adopted towards teamwork, contributing to the smooth running of the premises, and interacting productively with other departments.
- This role is also about passing on knowledge and you must be prepared to work with and set an excellent example for new and existing staff members. This is all part of our commitment to developing our teams within the company.
**Operational Duties**
- The role of a supervisor is predominantly front-facing position leading the other FOH staff and serving customers, performing every job the FOH staff do in a more senior role.
- Making sure the business is ready for service, keeping on top of daily duties and a close eye on cleanliness and presentation of the FOH.
- Ensuring the rotation and organisation of stock is upheld, checking for expired items and reporting them to management.
- Follow the recipes and presentation specifications as dictated by the line managers and as written into drinks specification books.
- Helping delegate tasks whilst on shift and the organisation of breaks supporting new and existing staff with knowledge-based questions and offering light training in everyday tasks to try and maximise performance in the workplace.
- Ensuring you are following procedure and practising protocol in health and safety reporting anything pertinent to line managers.
- Help to monitor staff transactions with customers on shift ensuring all irregularities are reported to line managers.
- Set individual objectives and targets to staff and ensure they are met.
**Job Requirements**
- Flexible - This role requires flexibility in terms of working patterns and shifts, we are open 7 days a week and expect the Supervisor to embrace a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
