We are pleased to be working with a local business to support with their current recruitment need to appoint a supportive and enthusiastic **LRC Assistant**working within a larger College Group, at their Redhill site.

**Start**: Early January 2023 - Ongoing basis

**Salary**: £11 - £12 per hour

**Hours**: 8.45 am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

The purpose of the post is to support the use, maintenance and development of the Learning Resource Centre (LRC). This is student facing role, where your daily responsibilities will include:

- To proactively contribute to the development and running of the LRC including routine support services such as creating displays, staffing the LRC desk, maintaining computerised loan records, shelving, shelf-tidying, filing, stock ordering and any othertasks appropriate to the level of the role.
- To assist with the supervision of students while they are in the LRC.
- To process and record information on to the College systems and to share the responsibility for maintaining accurate records with the rest of the LRC team.
- To assist students in the appropriate use of the Learning Resource Centre to support the progress in their courses.

Ideally you will have experience working within a similar role within further education, however, full training will be given. You will need a positive outlook and helpful nature, along with strong communication skills, to support the students in this keyarea of the college.
