An exciting opportunity for an Arborist Surveyor to join Electricity North West's vegetation delivery teams based in Kendal has arisen. The full-time surveyor role comes with a salary of £32,540.35 to £34,832.91 and excellent benefits.
As a surveyor, you will work independently, liaising with landowners to conduct UA5 surveys on ENWL’s extensive overhead electricity distribution network. You will manage your workload, completing all aspects of the survey to effectively support the Utility Arborists in the maintenance of trees adjacent to overhead power lines.
In your first few weeks in this Arborist role, you can expect to:
- Liaise and negotiate with third parties to obtain maximum tree clearance
- Focus on delivering high levels of customer service in all aspects of your role
- Provide tree-cutting work packs that are in line with operational standards
- Initiate site-specific risk assessments and build safe working practices into the work packs.
- Demonstrable good communication and customer-based skills
- The ability to complete paperwork to a high standard
- Be well-organised, self-motivated, and able to work under your initiative.
An RFS in Arboriculture and an NPTC UA5 would also be advantageous.
