Payroll Administrator

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnered with a global premium drinks business to appoint a Payroll Administrator to their finance team based in the outskirts of Glasgow. Our client is a dynamic and growing company looking for a dedicated Payroll Administrator to play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the payroll function. Reporting to the Finance Assistant Manager, you will collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvement of the payroll processes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Process monthly payroll for the UK entity
- Prepare outsourced overseas payroll
- Manage payroll year-end reporting
- Address and resolve payroll queries
- Stay updated on current payroll issues and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
- Maintain accurate payroll records
- Manage the P11D process
- Assist in processing the pension scheme
- Administer Concur, including monthly upload and reconciliation of expenditure
- Handle administration for company credit cards, cash expenses, currency advances and company vehicles
- Issue, track and reconcile currency advances
- Administration of company vehicles, including arranging lease agreements and insurance cover
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Payroll experience is essential
- Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Collaborative and team-oriented work ethic
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Effective prioritisation, preparation, and workload planning skills
- Mitrefinch, FlexiPay, SAP and Concur knowledge beneficial
**Working Pattern**:
- Salary: £30k - £35k doe
- 34-hour working week - early finish on a Friday
- Hybrid role 50 / 50
- Flexible working hours with core hours
