**Our client is a global Freight Forwarding Group Specialising in Air & Sea, Road, and Warehouse services. With an ambitious, international freight team, dedicated to getting goods from A to B on time by sea, air and road with expert 3pl, and warehousingfacilities we can store, pack and despatch**
We are now recruiting for a **Freight Business Development Manager** to cover the **Heathrow and surrounding territory.**
The Business Development Manager is responsible for the identification, acquisition, development and retention of a customer base within Air & Seafreight. Building and growing business within those relationships to increase revenue from sales.
**Your role will involve**
** Build and maintain a customer base to expand revenue streams**
** Maintain and develop relationships with existing portfolio of account whilst maximising all sales opportunities by winning business**
** Establish and plan key accounts**
** Self-generate appointments to maximise revenue**
** Provide advice and guidance to resolve queries and objections and ensure follow up and resolutions are delivered**
** Be fully accountable for the growth of GP (gross profit) across these modes and in line with a structured sales scheme**
** Generate weekly and monthly progress reports to National Sales Manager when required, whilst maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of all business within the role**
**Benefits**
**Salary £35,000 to £50,000 circa**
**Pay increments based on hitting targets**
**8% Commission uncapped**
