Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet company objectives
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
- Analyze market trends and conditions to ensure competitive pricing and quality of goods
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in procurement technology
**Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, systems, and tools (e.g., Oracle EBS, SAP, AS400)
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on market trends and conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in purchasing records and contract terms
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and logistics
Note: Experience with Edwards or other relevant systems is a plus.
**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
