**Location**: Chesterton, Newcastle Under Lyme, ST5 6BN

**Working hours**: 8:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday with two 30 min breaks. 40hrs a week.

Initial induction, on the job training and PPE will be provided. Immediate start available.

**The job purpose is to**:

- Batching architectural & structural mix designs
- Following a scientific process of mixing powders
- Taking samples, making cubes and ensuring compliance
- Quality assurance
- Daily checks and maintenance of associated plant and machinery
- Liaising with external suppliers
- Keeping accurate batch records
- Maintaining and replenishing stock levels
- Supporting and driving the process to ensure optimum productivity
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Will have experience in batching and mixing
- Will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Will have time management skills
- Be able to prioritise tasks and think on their feet with a methodical approach
- Must be able to multi-task, be hardworking and have attention to detail
- Overhead crane and FLT experience would be an advantage
- Must be able to maintain good timekeeping and attendance record
- Must be able to keep the work area clean
- Be able to follow instructions and complete tasks as required
- Have good IT and communication skills
- Be able to carry out manual work
