**HR Advisor (Employee Relations)**

Balfour Beatty VINCI is proud to be designing and building a 90KM stretch of the West Midlands section of HS2. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a **HR Advisor (Employee Relations) **within the** People Services team.**

This role will be based on site at Coleshill. Our head office is based located within an excellent location easily accessible via the M6 and M42. The office is also accessible via rail, we offer employees a shuttle bus transfer to our office from Birmingham international.

**Role description**:

- The individual will provide the main point of contact and reference for all Employee Relations advice to Balfour Beatty Vinci Line Managers and through the dedicated ER team.
- They will work closely with Human Resourcing Business Partners and Employee Relations teams (within the parent company) community to provide pragmatic advice and solutions in Employee Relation situations.
- They will work in line with current UK legislation to minimise and effectively manage business risk. Having a proactive approach to advice and guidance, coaching and developing line managers in best practice, identifying trends in the business and working with the HR Community to constantly improve ER Delivery in support of the BBV business objectives.

**Experience required**:

- Excellent communication skills demonstrated through a variety of methods but with particular emphasis on telephone skills.
- Proven experience of effectively utilising a variety of effective influencing skills to achieve business aims and objectives.
- Strong organisational, planning, time and project management skills with evidence of ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining quality, accuracy, attention to detail and high standards.
- Able to make timely, informed decisions that take into account the facts, goals, constraints and risks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in all matters, displaying appropriate judgement and initiative when required.
- CIPD Qualified or studying towards
- Complex multi-employer environment experience is an advantage.

**About Balfour Beatty VINCI**

Our work with HS2 Balfour Beatty VINCI have been awarded a 90km section of the HS2 project from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.

Overall, we will be building the following across all our sites:

- 42 viaducts totalling over 11km
- 66 overbridges
- More than 35 cuttings reaching over 30km
- 56 culverts - 66 embankments reaching over 33km
- Building four motorway crossings requiring box structures
- Six interfaces with the existing rail requiring both dive-under and overbridge structures
