Senior Procurement Officer

Our client, based in the North West**,** is currently recruiting for a **Senior Procurement Officer** on a temporarycontract for three months.

The position is a full time, **three month** temporary contract and there is a possibility of a permanent role. The equivalent permanent salary is £40,000 and there is room for flexibility on the day rate.

**Duties will include (but not limited to)**:

- Assisting with the shared services to deliver on all procurement activities
- Work in partnership and build strong relationships with stakeholders as required
- Provide general advice to stakeholders of varying areas, discussing and recommending on options for frameworks
- Assist with drafting reviews, and the production of procurement documents
- Have sound knowledge of Procurement Contract Regulations and public sector procurement

**Skills, knowledge and expertise required**:

- Demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Must have public sector experience, ideally Local Government
- Working knowledge of Public Contract Regulations 2015

**Rewards and Benefits**:

- Option to wok fully remote
- Flexible hours
- Negotiable daily rate with equivalent permanent salary of £40k

**Working hours**:

- 37 hours per week
- Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
