Stock Controller

Established in 1892 Swan Mill Paper Company has grown to be a large and diversified business based around the core principles of disposables, ink on paper and party with a particular specialism in all things Christmas. As both a UK manufacturer, and an importer with full in house design facilities and supported by our Hong Kong office we supply across the world to the catering and hospitality industries in addition to retailers.

Working within our large, extremely busy and fast moving warehouse environment, the stock controller/planner will be responsible for the control of all stock in the warehouse and maintaining the stock accuracy plus ensure efficient planning of factory production. This will involve tracking shipments and deliveries, ensuring stock is booked in and located in a timely manner within agreed kpi’s, overseeing regular stock audits and maintaining accurate records of adjustments. Conduct regular stock checks, investigate stock discrepancies and identify the root causes of errors and work with the warehouse management team to prevent reoccurrence.

Swantex takes pride in ensuring that every customer order is fulfilled 100% to an agreed SLA to our customers and tracks OTIFNE (on time in full no errors) and the availability of stock in the right place at the right time and in the right condition is essential to delivering this KPI.

Do you have:
Proven work experience as a warehouse stock controller in a pressurised multi SKU environment?

Knowledge and proficiency in relevant software packages including very strong Excel ability and MS Office proficiency?

The ability to work under pressure and deliver strong results?

Are you:
A team player and happy to ‘jump in’ where required?

Able to input, retrieve, analyse and manage multiple data for best effect?

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
