We are seeking an experienced Production Scheduler to join our team.

Mon - Thu 8:30am-5:00pm Fri 8:30am-4:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Daily production planning responsibility, effectively planning sales order instructions relating to German office, and for non-urgent orders.
- Specific responsibility for planning CNC production, and managing related sub-contract activities.
- Plan processes to minimize costs, including manpower, equipment, and material yield,
- Be a key member of the CNC working group investigating costs and feasibility of new machining opportunities.
- Responsibility for CIMCO program management updates, and for CNC related customer drawing and model updates.
- Management of production contracts, including BAE; liaising with customers, production flow and planning, organizing shipment, management of inventory, determination of cutting plans to maximize yields, meeting customer delivery expectations.
- Utilisation of nesting software in support of efficient utilization of waterjet cutter and achieving best material yields.
- Super-user status on iMetal software, supporting training of colleagues, and development of system.
- Support Operations Manager in all activities.
- Participate in business improvement activities as required.
- Provide cover for other production planning colleagues.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Fluent in verbal and written English.
- Strong numeracy skills
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and business systems
- Actively seeks improvements in processes
- Rigorous on detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
