Barista/server

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by preparing and serving a variety of coffee-based beverages and food items. Your passion for coffee, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor will contribute to creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based beverages, such as espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and macchiatos
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and addressing any concerns or complaints
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and machinery with precision and care
- Prepare food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and salads
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso-based beverages is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety regulations is desired
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to £11.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
