Project Engineer

A market leader in the development of touch screen technologies is now looking for an Applications Engineer to join their growing team at their Head Offices in Portsmouth.

On a day-to-day basis your workload will be directed by projects and sales/operations depending on where the support is required.

You will provide on-site field support to customers as and when required and support the sales team with technical support and on-site presentations.

Your responsibilities will include seeing customer designs from requirements to full production; demonstrating and marketing the devices; assisting with design, configuration; and supporting the customer throughout the life of the project.

The role will likely require a good amount of travel within the EU, predominantly Germany and it is likely that some international travel will be required from time to time.

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:
To succeed as Applications Engineer, you will have previous experience in a technical customer facing in a role

A background in semiconductors, along with hands-on experience of electronic circuit design and debug (2+ yrs) is essential for this role.

Complete product lifecycle design and support experience.
