The Warehouse Operative role is responsible for various tasks within the business, the key duties are listed below. This role will involve a high level of administrative tasks and competing pressures on time, so excellent organisation and self-management skills are required.

**CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMPANY EXPECTATIONS**
- Having a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these i.e. efficient service that aims to impress the customer along with above average levels of cleanliness and professionalism within the warehouse environment
- Responding to and dealing with customer communication and feedback
- Communicating with customers to monitor the quality of service they are receiving and reporting to the Branch Manager problems that are out of your control

**GENERAL DUTIES**
- Planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt, order picking and despatch of goods
- Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate
- Operating machinery to cut carpets
- Offloading/loading delivery vehicles (includes heavy lifting)
- Coordinating the use of computer systems where necessary and aiming to help improve where possible

- Following Rules and Guides on H & S as set by the Branch and Company

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
