**General Duties of Role**:
To assist Manager, Deputy and other members of staff in the day to day running of the Nursery/Setting
To work at all times in accordance with nursery/setting rules, regulations and policies.
To foster an overall environment which caters for the children’s every need, which will cater for the all round development of all children and provide the highest standard of care.
To inform management of any concerns regarding child protection issues.
To ensure that standards of safety, cleanliness and hygiene are maintained to a high quality.
houTo work in a professional manner when dealing with parents, visitors and other agencies, adhering to strict confidentiality rules at all times.
To inform management of any changes in personal circumstance that could affect the day to day running of the nursery/setting.
To attend relevant staff meetings and training events necessary, for the safe and effective operation of the nursery/setting.
To undertake any tasks set by management in accordance with the role
To respect the confidentiality of information received.
To develop your role within the team especially in your capacity as a key worker:

- keep children's files up to date including photographs
- complete observations
**Specific Child Care Tasks**
1. The preparation and completion of activities to suit the child's stage of development
2. To ensure that mealtimes are a time of pleasant social sharing.
3. Washing and changing children as required
4. Providing comfort and warmth to all children.
5. Providing conscientious and effective supervision of the children
6. To interact and engage with the children

**Desirable;**

NVQ Level 2 or above in Childcare or working towards

Welsh Speaking

First Aid

Safegaurding

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: £6.40-£11.44 per hour

**Benefits**:
