**HOLIDAY PARK MAINTENANCE MANAGER**

**Holiday Park | | Permanent | Full Time**

**Salary: £25-25K**

**Hours: Full Time | Permanent**

We are seeking an active and enthusiastic Maintenance Manager to join and lead the small maintenance and grounds team on one of our client’s family friendly holiday parks in beautiful Perthshire.

Our client is an established holiday and lifestyle operator who offer a unique package to holiday makers and owners. Part of this package is the upkeep of the caravan fleet, buildings, and grounds that the owners and holiday makers enjoy. You will be looking after a small team of 3 covering all aspects of grounds, repairs and maintenance ensuring all Health & Safety requirements and legislations are met.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring all areas meet with the high expectations of our customers
- Ensuring safety of customers and team
- Enforcing relevant legislation (health and safety, hygiene, fire etc)
- Ensuring team and customer areas are maintained effectively
- Prove all the above by completion of check sheets
- Conduct and oversee general internal and external Park Maintenance
- Ensuring best practices with regards inventory stock control
- Compilation, delivering and exceeding budgeted cost control
- Proactively managing change and continuous improvement in all areas of the park
- Establishing and communicating to team members achievement goals
- Liaising and working cohesively with all departments on park
- Liaising with customers ensuring all standards are met and exceeded
- Liaising with direct Line Manager and escalating any issues or complaints
- Recruiting, managing and motivating staff members as well as coaching and developing, supporting and monitoring staff members to encourage promotion
- Liaising with the General Manager to prioritise areas of concentration
- General administrative work
- Dealing with rota’s, payroll, payroll queries and invoicing
- De-Siting and siting caravans and associated services
- Install and maintaining appliances and equipment
- Maintaining on site vehicles, buggies mowers etc.
- Use of Book Now logs to manage effective maintenance
- Responsible for grounds upkeep
- Proven experience on a holiday park environment
- A can-do, will-do person who completes tasks.
- Assertive, diplomatic and “hands on”
- Excellent Communication & Organisation Skills
- Quick-witted with good analytical skills
- Ability to work to the needs of the business
- Have a basic knowledge of electrical/Plumbing/Carpentry/Wall Tiling/Decorating skills
- Advantageous to have gas certificates and to have completed caravan siting courses etc
- Ability to perform minor fixes and repairs
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- Must have Full Driving licence
- Gas Safety Certification preferable
