We are currently recruiting for a Pricing Associate who will be responsible for providing support to the Pricing Department, with particular focus on key processes involved with pricing quotations, inbox management, deal construction and modelling. This role involves working cross functionally within the wider Surgical team, effective communication skills and excellent attention-to-detail.

The daily role of the Pricing Associate:

- Produce timely and accurate quotations within agreed timeframes and KPI’s in place.
- Accurate calculations using pricing tools including CPQ and templates available for both cash purchases and Finance Agreements.
- Support the field force with Deal Construction using internal resources and templates.
- Training of new Account managers on internal quoting system process.
- Drafting contract letters and templates and uploading onto internal system & ongoing management of the templates in use.
- Ensure Pricing forms are filled in accurately.
- Liaise with other departments in resolving of pricing queries, pricing extensions and using internal pricing tools.
- Maintain and manage all customer and product data in CPQ quoting tool.
- Attend and represent Pricing Function on Weekly inter-departmental call.
- Update database, customers repository and carry out analysis of data as and when required
- Develop reports as directed by the Head of Strategic Pricing.
- Reflect the Alcon values of Quality, Reliability, Flexibility, Speed, Cost and Alcon’s leadership behaviours.
- Carry out and manage the monthly Contract Price Review process.
- Any other duties or projects as requested by the Line Manager commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility for this role, for which the associate has the necessary experience and/or training

What you should bring to this role:

- Advanced Excel skills required
- College Level qualification or equivalent (e.g. GNVQ/NVQ level 3/A levels) - desired
- Proven experience supporting a busy department and managing/prioritising a heavy workload
- Experience in using CRM and database systems
