Summary

The governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our school team.
We are looking for someone who:

- will actively support the Catholic ethos of the school
- will work closely with the class teacher to deliver high quality learning experiences for the children
- is organised
- is a team player
- has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- has high standards of English and Maths
- is able to offer small group intervention sessions
- will engage with professional development opportunities, training sessions and CPD
- is highly motivated, flexible, adaptable and able to use their own initiative

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ level 3 or above qualification (or equivalent) - in exceptional circumstances, where local circumstances dictate, qualifications may be viewed as desirable
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy

Essential Experience
- Working with children in a classroom environment
- Administrative work
- Individual Educational Plans and how to implement

Desirable Experience
- Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
- Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
