Trainee Accountant

Multitop Accountants Ltd is an established and growing accountancy firm. We offer our clients a wide range of services, including taxation, bookkeeping, accounts preparation and filing, payroll, and VAT.

**Job opportunity**

**Key responsibilities**
- Completion of paperwork for new clients.
- Organising and saving documents under relevant folders.
- Liaising with clients.
- Liaising with HMRC.
- Answering incoming phone calls.
- Updating and maintaining in-house databases and systems.
- Preparation and filing of VAT returns for sole traders, partnership, and limited companies using software and Microsoft excel (Access to training for use of software provided).
- Payroll administration using payroll software (training provided)
- Year-end accounts preparation and filing.
- Support the team to continuously deliver the agreed level of service.
- Undertake other ad hoc duties when required.

**Job Requirements**
- have positive attitude towards learning.
- possess excellent communication skills.
- be adaptable.
- have general proficiency in IT.
- have interest in working with numbers.
- have experience and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft word (intermediate level).
- be AAT (min level 2) or ACCA (part or fully qualified) qualified.
- Other qualifications related to accountancy/finance will also be considered.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
