**As a Night Support Worker what does the role entail**:
**Your day will consist of **
- To be responsible for the safety and security of the building and service users, including completing and updating necessary case files.
- Provide a point of contact to service users who may require assistance and crisis support outside of normal office hours, ensuring their health, wellbeing and security.
- Control access to the scheme and monitor visitors to ensure the safety of service users.
- Maintain the security of the scheme to ensure that the assets of the YMCA are safeguarded.
- Ensure that staff presence is maintained at all times
- Respond promptly and positively to any issues or incidents that arise, ensuring that these are fully documented on the YMCA associated paperwork.
- Ensure that case notes are maintained and all contact with service users is documented.
- Ensure that House Rules are maintained and in the event of serious anti-social behaviour the appropriate agencies are contacted.
- Maintaining comprehensive records of housing applicants, residents, former residents and properties, ensuring the information is accurate, up to date and relevant.

**This job is for you, if**
- You have experience working within a Supported Housing Setting (desirable but not essential)
- You have a good standard of education to G.C.S.E level or equivalent, with grade C or above - or equivalent in Mathematics and English.
- You have good communication skills both written and verbal.
- You have a calm personable nature and find appropriate resolutions when handling conflict or difficult issues.
- You are a resilient and confident team worker who can work on their own initiative or work as part of a team.
- You can work unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends.

Successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
