Phlebotomy and Specimen Reception Lead

We are looking for someone to provide management support to our phlebotomy and specimen reception teams. You will ideally have a been educated to degree level or have equivalent experience. However, if you have not and are willing to develop into this role and have experience of any of the following then we would be interested to hear from you:

- Managing people particularly with regards to recruitment, sickness, and other HR related issues
- Managing and using web-based systems
- Managing and maintaining documentation
- Collating and reporting of quality data

Progression from a Band 6 to 7 will be dependent upon successful completion of training to post graduate diploma level and sign off a competency-based framework. The expectation is that this should be achieved within 12 months.
