**ROUTE PLANNER**

A route planner supports daily transportation operations including planning, scheduling all routing duties for the drivers, driver check in and the monitoring, compliance and performance indicators for driver hours of service.

**Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to**:

- Responsible for the direction and coordination of assigned team of route drivers to ensure maximum performance relative to product delivery, cost efficient equipment utilization, service, safety and good customer relations.
- Support daily transportation operations and notify clients of pertinent information.
- Use systems to locate drivers and track data for reporting purposes.
- Contact drivers about load assignments and schedule changes.
- Resolves complex route issues and trains team as required.
- Reacts timely and effectively to breakdowns and accidents.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Proficient computer skills
- Knowledge of transportation technology systems.
- Ability to work independently.
- Detail oriented.
- Logistics education.
- Food service distribution experience.
- Turkish speaking

**Work schedule**:

- Monday - Thursday: 1pm - 11pm Friday: 1pm - 6pm Saturday: 8am -1pm
- Lunch provided on site
- 28 days holiday inclusive on Bank holidays

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,600 - £30,000 per year

**Work Location**: In person, Loughton (IG10 3SQ).
