Casual Receptionist

Gym & Wellbeing Part Time Receptionist

**Reporting To**

Head of Wellness

**Job Summary**

Our gym & wellbeing centre is looking for a friendly outgoing receptionist to work on a casual basis to welcome members into the gym and patients into our consultation rooms. We are looking for a professional, customer focused team player who is a natural team player and understands the value of a superior customer experience. The successful applicant ideally should have an interest in health and fitness.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Sign in and greet members and patients upon arrival, making them feel welcome
- Interact with members to identify member needs and recommend solutions
- Answer telephone queries or direct to appropriate member of the team
- Keep reception areas clean and organised
- Process payments where applicable

**Skills Required**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, can do attitude
- Good organisational skills, able to multitask and / or prioritise as appropriate
- Sound computer skills
- Some sales experience is required to promote merchandise and services
- Enthusiastic team player
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexibility
- Able to use initiative

**Hours of Work**
- Covering shifts when needed
- Shifts are 6 hours each; **Mon-Fri** 8am - 2pm or 2pm - 8pm, **Sat** 8am - 2pm

**Pay & Benefits**
- National min wage plus holiday payment fund

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 0-18 per week

**Salary**: £10.18-£10.42 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cheshire, CW6 0AT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
