We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated Gardener/Ground Worker to join the team at Old Down Estate from March/April for 6 months.

The extensive grounds are an instrumental part of our business and are the backdrop to everything that takes place at Old Down, it is therefore essential that they are maintained to the highest standard at all times. In addition to the regular maintenance required we have projects across the Park and off site (within 5 miles) to complete within the next 6 months.

We are looking for people with experience of Gardening, Groundworks or Landscaping. Qualifications are not required if you can demonstrate work on previous projects and experience.

This is a casual contract (we anticipate 45 hours/week from March to September) and paid from £9.50/hour (dependent on experience). Our estates team work out in all weathers and the appropriate clothing is supplied to enable this. It is essential that you are a team player who is self motivated, has a keen eye for detail with a great work ethic. You will be joining a dedicated team who are passionate about horticulture.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: From £9.50 per hour
