The post is to work within and as part of the District Nursing Hub; supporting and working with both the clinical team and the administrative team to promote and facilitate the use of Malinko, an electronic allocation tool used to support Community Nursing Teams visiting patients in the community.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the adoption of Malinko post
- implementation including the following:

- This role is key and integral to the success of the everyday use of Malinko to proactively support; facilitate and enable the nursing team to realise the benefits from Malinko.
- Implementing administrative processes to ensure accurate data quality on the Trust’s Information Systems including Malinko and provide support to both the clinical and the administrative team (including data entry, data validation) in order to deliver the agreed national and departmental targets.
- Develop effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders and communicate formally and informally with them on regular basis. Dealing with complex information which often needs to be delivered in a sensitive and tactful manner to clinicians and members of the Divisional Management Team and the Chief Nurse Division.

Following consultation the Health and Social Care Act 2008 has been amended, which includes the provision that from 11th November 2021 all workers in CQC registered care homes are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless a medical exemption applies. If appointed to a role which includes deployment to care homes you will be required to provide evidence of full vaccination or medical exemption in order to undertake the role. This evidence will be required post-appointment as part of the pre-employment check process. Please note that the requirement for full vaccination, or medical exemption, will be a requirement of the terms and conditions of service for staff deployed to care homes.
