**THE POSITION**

We are currently looking for a National External Expert Lead to join our team based from our Head office in Bracknell. Reporting into the Brand lead, as a National Expert Lead within Cardiometabolism, you will act a strategic lead for the engagement, co-ordination and development of external experts (healthcare professionals) and the channels across which they disseminate promotional and scientific materials.

You will also contribute to the wider integrated customer plan, lead on national and regional meetings plan and be accountable for the content deployed by External Expert’s and, finally, identifies appropriate opportunities to adapt content to the customer or geographies needs in line with the brand strategy.

You will also be the main contact point for national advocates.

We are able to offer this as a hybrid role where you will be required to be onsite at least twice a week.

**TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Leading on the development of clear and implementable national and regional advocacy development and deployment plans focused on expanding the number and reach of identified advocates, within given expenditure level and timelines.
- Accountability for the deployment of meetings programmes at national and regional level ensuring external experts are briefed and well prepared to present messages aligned to the brand strategy across multiple channels.
- Engaging in regular and pro-active interactions with established and prospective EE's aligned to advocacy plans, acting as the primary point of contact for the prioritised advocates and informing the cross
- functional colleagues and - where appropriate - the core team of the plans development and alignment to the wider franchise objectives.
- Leading on localisation and approval of appropriate corporate assets, adaptation of existing Meetings Material Suite (MMS) and development of new materials and assets to serve the needs of the external experts seeking to advocate the brands attributes and benefits aligned to the brand strategy and advocacy plan.
- Identifying and developing external experts that can help define and shape the tactical direction for BI from pre-development to post implementation.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Significant pharmaceutical experience preferably working within cardio-metabolism
- Previous marketing experience in a similar role
- Proven experience of managing budgets and projects
- Strong commercial focus
- Proven track record of high-quality customer relation
