Community Phlebotomist

An opportunity has arisen for Community Phlebotomists to join Caia Park District Nursing Team and Grove Road District Nursing Team.

15 hours permanent Caia Park DN Team

15 hours permanent Grove Road DN Team

The post-holders must be enthusiastic and motivated team players with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who will work as a member of the District Nursing Team.

The post requires undertaking phlebotomy duties within clinic settings, patients’ homes and residential homes as delegated across a geographical area.

Job Purpose

To provide a safe, patient centred phlebotomy service for all patient groups

May be required to work alone

Required to develop and maintain competence in adult phlebotomy

Required to be available to work within stated base and any other location,

Provision and may be required to provide extended service as deemed necessary to meet patient needs
