Caretaker

**The job itself**:
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated Caretaker to join our team, commencing on 2nd October 2023.

Our school is open from 7am to 6pm and we need someone on site at all times. Due to the retirement of one of our excellent Caretakers, we are looking for someone who can open the school at 7am and work until 1pm. Our other Caretaker works from 12.30pm and closes the school at 6pm. It is essential, however, that applicants are flexible on occasions, so that each Caretaker can cover for the other if necessary.

We are looking for people who are competent in a range of repair and maintenance areas, who are flexible and willing to respond to the needs of the school. You will be required to work both outside and inside all year round and undertake some lifting and carrying. Whilst prior experience in a similar role would be an advantage, full training will be available.

Visits to the school for a look around the site and a chat about the role would be welcomed.
