Import Clerk

Import/Customs Clerk required. Streamline Search are representing a Global renowned logistics company providing courier, package delivery and express mail service worldwide. Our clients are searching for an ambitious Import Clerk to join the Imports team in their Hayes office.

This individual must have Customs knowledge, with experience on either CDS of CargoWise systems.

**Import/Customs Clerk
- Position Overview**
- You will be responsible for coordinating customs entries for the shipment of goods including, managing full custom declarations for both imports and exports within strict timescales
- You will transmit declarations to HMRC to align with customer requirements and internal KPIs
- Using your excellent interpersonal skills you will deliver frequent communication to customers, freight forwarders, hauliers, and internal stakeholders, promoting excellent customer service and engagement
- You will demonstrate your ability to problem solve through managing critical customer requirements
- You will maintain all customs entries files both electronically and hard copies for certification

**Import/Customs Clerk
- Position Requirements**
- Experience in a Customs or Imports role is required
- Knowledge of Customs is required
- Experience on either CDS of CargoWise systems is desirable
- Computer skills including basic-intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- You must be process driven with great attention to detail

**Import/Customs Clerk
- Position Remuneration**
- Salary £25,000 - £31,000 DOE with additional shift allowances where applicable.
- Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays in lieu

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
