**Youth Engagement & Wellbeing Service (YEWS)**

We are launching an exciting new service in Cardiff supporting the emotional wellbeing needs of young people aged 16 - 25 years, who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET) and we are looking for a Co-ordinator.

**What is the Youth Engagement and Wellbeing Service?**

We understand that issues impacting young people's ability to engage with support have been exacerbated by the pandemic and cost-of-living crisis. YEWS is a brand-new provision that aims to deliver an integrated program of support to 16-25 year olds living in Cardiff and are facing multiple disadvantages and difficulties sustaining education and progressing into employment.

Support will be aimed at those young people who are socially excluded, isolated and experiencing issues such as low-level anxiety, social anxiety, or depression. YEWS will engage with young people using an assertive outreach approach, focusing on building strong working relationships.

YEWS will provide 1:1 and group work interventions using psycho-educational and emotional support: our holistic approach recognises the importance of overall wellbeing in enabling young people to sustain positive destinations. YEWS will help young people to develop the skills and confidence they need to move into work, training or volunteering by delivering tailored wrap-around, long-term interventions.
