**Workshop Controller Role**:
**Job Purpose**:
As a Workshop Controller, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Managing workshop resources to optimize efficiency within agreed departmental budgets.
- Effectively communicating customer requirements to department members.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Your duties will involve:

- Calculating and managing workshop resource utilization.
- Monitoring individual and workshop efficiencies to meet key performance indicators.
- Planning work distribution among the team based on available skills.
- Identifying and addressing individual training and development needs.
- Facilitating communication between the workshop and service reception regarding customer vehicle progress.
- Maintaining workshop standards in line with brand requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with manufacturer service requirements and customer satisfaction indicators.
- Continuously developing your own skills and technical knowledge.
- Upholding safe working practices and adhering to business rules and standards.

**Person Specification**:
**Essential**:

- Proof of Right to Work in the UK.

**Experience**:
**Desirable**:

- Relevant manufacturer experience.

**Skills & Knowledge**:
**Essential**:

- Full UK driving license.
- Smart appearance.
- Competency in numeracy, literacy, and IT.
