Leakage Inspector

Do you like solving problems? Do you have a good understanding of active leakage control and the water supply business? Do you want to work for an industry-leading organisation? If so, we have a great opportunity for you to join the team as a Leakage Inspector.
**What you'll do**:
Working as part of a busy team, you will be trained to use a variety of techniques and equipment to find leaks on our network. Once fully trained, you will liaise with other network staff about maintaining and improving the network system, as well as reviewing flow alarms and calibrating and maintaining leakage equipment.
As a Leakage Inspector you will:
- carry out reactive and proactive leak detection
- monitor the leakage system and collecting data
- participate in out-of-hours standby
- carry out night work, typically once night per week.
**What you'll need**:
You will be a driven, hardworking and self-motivated person with the ability to learn new skills.
You will also need:
- to be able to work well alone or as part of a team
- excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- good customer service skills
- good IT skills as you will be dealing with internal systems on a daily basis
- a flexible approach to working hours is a must as this role will involve planning and carrying out night work typically once per week
- a full driving licence as you will be driving is part of your role.
