Maintenance Planner, Ahlstrom, Chirnside, Scotland

We have recently invested in cutting-edge technology with a new production line and are looking for new talents to join our Team.**

**We are now looking for a new Maintenance Planner to join our Team. In your role, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance activities.**

**As a Maintenance Planner you will**:

- Ensure that all maintenance work/actions are planned/scheduled 48 hours ahead
- Manage the planning system (MX and shift log) to support the Department Supervisor
- Ensure all parts and materials are available for planned work
- Lead the purchase request and ordering on site (supported by supervisors and insite stores team)
- Co-ordinate planned and unplanned shutdowns to attain all necessary schedules
- Co-ordinate daily and weekly planning meetings and support the Department Supervisor in their maintenance meetings
- Schedule internal and external resources, materials and services to ensure that all weekly maintenance plans are created in a timely fashion and in accordance with departmental KPIs

**To qualify for this role, you should have**:

- Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance planning
- Time management skills
- Organizational skills
- Communication skills
- Leadership skills / Driven
- Effective teamwork
- Computer literate
- Experience in using SAP / MX

Previous experience in paper or continuous process-related industries is considered as an added advantage.

Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
