We are an innovative, friendly GP Practice in Bath with a list size of almost 8,000 patients, working across two sites, 1.5 miles apart. We have ample free parking in each locality.
**We currently have the following vacancy: Receptionist and Administrator**
The role involves face to face & telephone contact with patients; booking appointments; dealing with medication prescription requests & other administrative duties. The surgery core opening hours are Mon - Fri (8.30 to 6pm) and we are ideally looking for Monday (8.30 - 1.30), Tuesday (2.00 - 6.00), Wednesday (8.30 - 6.00pm (1hr break)), Thursday (2.00 - 6.00) and Friday (8.30 - 1.30). However, there may be some flexibility with these hours. There will also be an opportunity of additional hours if desired, providing cover for annual leave within the reception team.
Applicants for the posts should be self-motivated, flexible, calm, hardworking team players with good communication & computer skills. Previous experience of a Medical patient booking system (TPP - Systmone) is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.
Successful applicants will be eligible for the NHS pension scheme.
