Midland Mouldings is a third-generation family business specialising in bespoke timber mouldings and joinery. Our friendly, growing, strong team are excited to offer the role of Machine Woodworker, based in our Brownhills workshop.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Woodworker to join our team. There is the possibility for future career progression.

The position would be offered on a full-time basis, working from 8am-5pm Monday to Friday.

Role and Responsibilities:
Typical duties will include:

- Utilise hand tools and operating woodworking machines to cut and shape wooden components
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Finish wooden products to meet quality standards
- Handle materials efficiently to minimise waste and maintain an organised workspace
- Handling wood as it moves through the factory
- Assembling wooden components as part of a team
- Sanding and filling
- General workshop duties including maintaining a tidy and clean work environment
- Forklift truck operation (training can be provided)

**Skills**:

- Proficient in woodworking techniques and processes
- Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements and dimensions
- Capable of assembling wooden components
- Proficiency in using hand tools and woodworking machinery effectively for woodworking tasks

**Experience would be beneficial but isn’t essential as full training will be provided. Essential attributes include being enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable; a can-do attitude is paramount.**
