We are proud of our Maternity Service at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. We are a supportive and friendly team dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care to our service users.

We are in the process of developing and implementing a new Triage area within our antenatal services including the implementation of a paperless maternity system - BadgerNet, and introducing BSOTs as part of this process.

We are looking for passionate midwives with an enthusiasm for triage to be part of the implementation and development of this service.

Working as part of a small team, this core post holder will give high quality, safe, evidence based, holistic midwifery care to women in all maternity care settings including antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team. To ensure midwifery care and support is personalised to meet the needs of the woman

The Trust’s secondary care service portfolio is comprehensive, covering the major medical and surgical specialties, routine and specialist diagnostic services and other clinical support services. These services are provided primarily to a catchment population of approximately 600,000 in the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire area.

HUTH provides specialist and tertiary services to a population of 1.25 million extending from Scarborough in North Yorkshire to Grimsby and Scunthorpe in North East and North Lincolnshire respectively.
