Test & Calibration Operative

**Working schedule**:Monday to Friday 08.30-17.00 (38.75 hours per week).

**About the role**:

- Carry out first and second line calibration on any equipment manufactured by GDS Technologies
- Accurately complete test reports and test certificates as required by GDS Procedures
- Be able to set up and programme PCB’s following GDS work instructions
- Carry out basic repairs at module and component level
- Provide support to the Production Manager
- Achieve and maintain standards of quality compatible with GDS processes and procedures
- Comply with GDS Technologies Management Systems for Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (ISO 9001, ISO45001, ISO14001 and ISO/IEC 80079-34)
- Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisation
- Carry out other duties as and when requested

**About you**:
Essential qualifications and experience:

- Existing vocational electronic/mechanical engineering qualification at Level 3 or higher
- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at grade C or above including English, Mathematics, and ICT

Desirable:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Full, clean UK driving licence

- Ability to work as part of a team
- Genuine interest in manufacturing and engineering

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
