BSNI have a fantastic opportunity for our manufacturing client based in Lurgan for production operatives.

**Hours and rate of pay**:

- Monday - Thursday 9am - 5.30pm
- Friday 8am - 4.30pm
- £11.44 per hour

**Duties**:

- Set up and operate sawing equipment to cut aluminium and stainless steel according to specifications.
- Read and interpret work orders and technical drawings to determine cutting requirements.
- Select appropriate saw blades, adjust cutting speeds, and position materials for precise cuts.
- Monitor sawing operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance on saws, including blade changes, lubrication, and adjustments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished cuts for defects, accuracy, and compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain inventory of cutting tools and consumables, ensuring adequate supply levels.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and meet deadlines.
