Window Fabricator

**Job Title: Window Aluminium and UPVC Fabricator**

**Location**: Stourbridge

**Salary Range**: £11.44-£15 per hour, depending on experience

**Hours**: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate Aluminium and UPVC windows according to engineering drawings and instructions.
- Operate machinery and tools, such as saws, drills, with precision and safety.
- Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Assemble window frames, sashes, and hardware components according to design specifications.
- Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet company standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the fabrication process.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and products as needed.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in window fabrication, particularly with Aluminium and UPVC materials, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in operating fabrication machinery and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and measurements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Health and safety awareness in a manufacturing environment.
- Relevant certifications or vocational training in fabrication or related field is advantageous.
