**The Role**

To deliver a friendly and professional service in a safe and efficient manner on and off company premises.

**The working hours for this position are as follows.....**

**Monday - Friday 07.30 - 17.00 + every other Saturday 08.00 - 12.00 (contracted) = 44.5 hours per week.**

**Key Accountabilities**
- Driving a 3.5T Van in accordance with the law, safely and courteously
- Comply with current legislation
- Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading
- Cultivate and maintain exceptional standards of customer service and ensuring Lawsons Best Practise, Standards and Company Policies are met
- Build rapport, be polite and courteous to customers
- Proactively contribute by seeking out potential company sales
- Be vigilant to prevent loss or damage of product and vehicle
- Be vigilant and report and Health & Safety issues to the Line Manager immediately

**We would love to meet someone with**
- **
**_Holds a full valid category B driving license (essential)_**:

- **_ Has previous van driving experience working in a_**_ builder's merchants_**_ (essential)_**
- Demonstrates a positive and friendly attitude
- Will promote and adhere to the company's cultures, values and professionalism
- Holds excellent interpersonal skills and confidence
- Is prepared to develop a knowledge of the company, its products and the elements required to be successfully employed in the business
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and methodical

- Professionalism - promoting and adhering to the company's cultures & values
- Good interpersonal skills, confident and able to approach customers
