Vacuum Former

We are a manufacturing and engineering company based in Benfleet.

We offer over 70 years of manufacturing Vacuum Formed products, Fibreglass Mouldings, Rim Moulding with Machining, Assembly, Prototypes, Jigs & Fixtures with CMM inspection before dispatch.

We are currently looking to fill a position in our Vacuum Form unit for a Vacuum Forming Operative

You will be trained to use all equipment and finish these products to a high standard.

Duties to include but not limited to:

- Setting of Vacuum Former
- Loading and forming of components
- Hand Trimming of Components
- Loading drying oven with material
- Maintaining Workshop
- Prepping tooling
- Assembly of parts
- Assisting colleagues when required

The successful applicant will need to
- have a high attention to detail
- Use of Hand Tools
- be able to follow instructions
- work as part of a team as well as using own initiative
- be able to problem solve
- Maintaining a tidy and safe work area at all times.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.

Salary dependent on experience

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 15:30pm

**Salary**: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Benfleet: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Vacuum forming: 1 year (preferred)
