**Strategic Sourcing Buyer**

**High Wycombe hybrid working *3 days office based**

**The Role**

We have an excellent opportunity for a passionate Strategic Sourcing Buyer to work in our Food and Packaging team on Beverages and Snacks categories reporting to Strategic Sourcing Manager.

The role is complex working across Europe and will be responsible for supporting the Strategic Sourcing Manager with end-to-end strategic sourcing across Europe.

**Accountable For**
- Category Excellence:

- Being the go-to person across the business for category knowledge.
- Fully understanding Micro & Macro influences across global supply chains, and how they influence value chains.
- Proactively adjusting sourcing plans, taking commercial advantage of positive influences along with strong coverage & protection plans when external influences provide headwinds.
- Developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies with clear action plans, for key categories across the regions, grounded from the businesses requirements and long term growth plans.
- Pro-actively explore opportunities to drive sustainable cost out, through the entire supply chain, improving franchisee profitability and to reduce COGS.
- Supplier Excellence:

- Being the owner of the end-to-end supplier relationship
- Proactively lead & manage key strategic supplier relationships.
- Working with the Supply Chain Supplier Performance Management team (SPM) to review, improve and continuously drive performance around OTIF
- Working with key strategic suppliers and internal cross functional teams to unlock value through the supply chain.
- Risk Excellence:

- Proactively understanding the risks across the supply base.
- Developing contingency plans to avoid, mitigate or face into the various risks across the categories & regions.
- Working with our Enterprise Risk team, to proactively risk review your supply base. Making informed decisions and recommendations to management around acceptable risks or plans to avoid identified risks.
- Proactively working with our legal teams to ensure your suppliers have a fully executed contract covering all aspects of supply with clear KPIs inline with tender awards.
