My client is a leading international business with offices across the globe. Their UK office, based in Farnborough, is seeking a VAT specialist to join their team on a fixed term contract basis to support with a new system implementation.

This is a vital role that will not only support with the testing of the new system efficiently in relation to tax, but to also support other team members as and when they are required to test the implementation.

Key duties include but are not limited to supporting the preparation of VAT tax returns across the EMEA entities, as well as supporting the project team to test the new tax engine software. The split between these main duties will be 50/50.
- will have substantial VAT compliance and reporting experience
- has worked with international VAT
- is an excellent communicator with outstanding attention to detail
- has worked with multiple ERP systems, in particular SAP
- will ideally have worked with Tax Engines
- is analytical and can critically think in scenarios
