Labour Driver

_**Job Title**:_

F & I Group is a leading construction company in the North East with over 40 years of experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing construction team based in Washington, North East. We cover all the North East, although most of our work is within a 100-mile catchment area from the office we could on the odd occasion go further.
- **About the Role**:_
- (Relevant experience in a similar role (required)
- Digital Tachograph Card (in-date)
- Valid HGV License
- Valid CPC (preferred)
- Knowledge of load security using rachet straps and other methods
- Good knowledge of the area (preferred)
- **Key Responsibilities**:_

The key responsibilities of the role will include all aspects of being a labour driver, including:

- Deliver materials to site using
- Loading / unloading equipment and materials
- Refuel on-site
- Carry out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy
- Completion of daily vehicle inspections and reporting defects to transport department
- Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure
- Safeguard all company assets; nothing leaves the depot without correct paperwork
- Ensure company vehicle or occasional loan vehicle supplied, is kept clean and tidy at all times, serviced within manufacturer’s guideline, and ensure any defects are notified to correct parties and rectified in a timely manner
